The Journal of Education and Human Development believes in being completely transparent about all the publication policies related to its journal, one of which is Article Processing Charges (APC). The journal makes the authors aware of any such charges in advance of the submission of the manuscript.
Depending upon the publication model of the journal, manuscripts can be handled by following the No Article Processing Charge (No APC) model or the Article Processing Charges (APC) model.
In the case of the No APC model, authors do not need to pay any fees for manuscript submission, editing, review, and publication. This helps in making scholarly publishing equal and helps in promoting the involvement of scholars of various geographical locations and academic disciplines.
In case the publication model of the journal is the APC model, publication fees help in handling editorial management, peer review management, digital processing, online hosting, indexation services, and archiving of publications.
In both cases, editorial decisions will remain independent of any financial aspect.
